Carmel Information Technology is a boutique IT consulting company offering a variety of services for large and small businesses. We have more than 40 years experience in both services for both enterprise-level and small businesses.
Our main office is located in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, and we have a satellite office in Los Angeles. Through these offices we offer services to clients located throughout the United States, Europe and the Far East.
The key to our success is our ability to LISTEN to the needs of our clients, to apply our many years of experience and to suggest cost-effective ways to meet those needs. We have a long list of delighted customers.
We have been dedicated users of Apple products from 1984, the year of introduction of the Mac 512 (hard to believe that it was 25 years ago)!
to the latest model of the MacBook Pro.
Since then, we have configured and administered Mac networks with multiple desktop and laptop computers, connected via AirPort, other wireless and/or hardwired routers. Networks have supported a variety of printers, cameras, scanners and external hard drives up to 1.5 TB in size.
We create and administer web sites.
We also have extensive SOX IT experience, ranging from first year filers requiring an end-to-end engagement, to 3rd and 4th year filers who required simple testing and possible remediation. Many of these SOX engagements have led to IT operational and cost-effectiveness assessments and recommendations for how to improve both.
We have many years of IT strategic and business planning experience, as well as having implemented IT governance structures and processes for a variety of clients.
We have very strong and highly experienced program and project management skills and have managed initiatives ranging from as small as $2K to more than $100M!
